A Note From Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer Gail

August 25, 2023

A statement from Mayor Gail regarding the 8/25 storms.

The storm last night has caused pockets of damage to some Euclid neighborhoods and homes. If your family was impacted and you are in need of an alternate place to stay for the day, the Euclid Senior Centre is open at 1 Bliss Lane.

City Hall has no power nor phones and will remain closed for Friday, 8/25.

Residents that are able can place storm debris on their tree lawn and it will be removed.

I'd like the thank the residents of Euclid for helping each other. As I travel through the City today, I am encouraged by the generosity of neighbors helping neighbors.

Thank you also to the service and nuisance staff for pooling together to clean up our community.

Thank you to the police and fire departments for working through the night handling the emergencies of the storm.

Stay safe and help each other.

Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer Gail
