Approximately 12,544 Administrative Subpoenas were mailed to taxpayers that neglected to file a municipal income tax return for their municipality.

Here's what to do if you received a administrative subpoena from RITA:


Taxpayers should respond by the due date on the Subpoena by simply e-filing the requested returns or exemptions at: https://www.ritaohio.com/Individuals/Home/File, or mailing/ faxing the information to RITA. 


The Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) mailed Administrative Subpoena letters to taxpayers that did not respond to the Non-Filing Income Tax Notice that was sent before the Subpoena was issued.  Taxpayers can simply send RITA the documents listed on the letter via:
