Gain the Power to Save a Life: Euclid Fire Department Heartsaver CPR & AED Course

Whether required for your job or simply driven by a desire to protect your loved ones and neighbors, knowing how to respond during a cardiac emergency is one of the most vital skills you can acquire. The Euclid Fire Department is proud to offer the American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver CPR AED course to help empower our community members with life-saving confidence.
What You Will Learn The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED course is specifically designed for anyone with limited or no prior medical background who needs an official course completion card to meet job, regulatory, or personal goals. During this hands-on session, you will learn how to:
- Administer high-quality CPR safely and effectively.
- Operative an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a timely manner.
- Respond confidently to choking and cardiac emergencies.
Course Details & Physical Requirements Because high-quality CPR requires active physical effort, this is a moderately strenuous training class. Participants should be in good physical health and capable of performing all required physical aspects of CPR practice on the floor and training mannequins.
- Duration: Approximately 3 hours
- Cost: $30 per person
- Payment Method: Check or money order made payable to CITY OF EUCLID (please write EFD CPR CLASS in the memo line).
