Join the Euclid HOPE Task Force and Case Western Reserve University for one of three honest conversations with your neighbors in Euclid about how to build a safer community.

  • November 13th- 7pm to 8:30pm at Euclid Public Library
  • November 18th- 7pm to 8:30pm at Bluestone Elementary School
  • November 23rd- 11am to 12:30pm at Cathedral Worship Center


Hope Task Force was started in 2022 by three Euclid mothers in response to increased gun violence.
We want to build a safe, sustainable community where everyone can thrive.

Join us for one of three open and honest conversations with our Euclid
neighbors about how to build a safer community for all of us.

  • How has gun violence impacted you?
  • What does a safer community look and feel like?
  • How do we address the root of community violence?


All Euclid residents are encouraged to attend any session. Small group discussions will be led by a team from Case Western Reserve University. FREE Food and Childcare will be available at all meetings.

 Give your input on future grant-funded community development projects! Our city will be applying for the 2026 Community Development Supplemental Grant (CDSG) from Cuyahoga County. The grant provides up to $50,000 per awardee . Funds must be used for visible improvements that make neighborhoods safer, healthier, or more welcoming. Eligible projects include: ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Parks & Playgrounds‎‎ (equipment, resurfacing, safety upgrades) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Streets & Safety (sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, benches) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Community Spaces (senior centers, rec centers, gathering spaces) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Demolition/Cleanup (unsafe or blighted small structures) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Planning Projects (studies/master plans for future improvements) Projects must benefit the whole community , not just one household or business. We want your input! Please take a few minutes to share your ideas.
