Euclid Natural Gas Aggregation Letters Coming Soon!

June 15, 2022

Constellation will be sending an opt-out letter this week.

Constellation, Euclid's natural gas aggregation supplier, will be sending an opt-out letter  to the residents currently enrolled in the city aggregation program. These are scheduled to mail at the end of the week of 6/13.

The City is in the middle of a 4-year supply contract (we’re at the end of year-2). The current fixed rate is $2.845/Mcf, which is drastically lower than the current alterative from the local utility company, currently $9.088/Mcf.

PUCO rules say that every two years a letter must be sent to give residents a chance to leave the program free of charge if they want to. Residents always have the ability to leave free of charge, but State laws required that these letters be sent.

No one’s service is changing, and no one needs to respond to these letters. Residents can simply ignore them and they will remain in the program.

The City is pleased to have made the program available but please contact the supplier, Constellation, at 844-467-4304 with any questions. Constellation has a trained call center staff standing by to help with questions, they keep detailed lists of customer information, and they are the only ones who can add/remove someone from the program.
