In Memory of Former Councilwoman Madeline Scarniench

April 2, 2024

We remember Madeline- an outstanding leader, public servant, mentor and friend.

Madeline Scarniench was an outstanding public servant, and community leader who with pride and dedication worked for a better City of Euclid.

She served as councilwoman for Ward 2 from 2008 to 2017, where she worked tirelessly to improve community livability, by focusing on the issues of greatest importance to her constituents.

Madeline was a strong advocate for Euclid’s community organizations such as Euclid Pet Pals, EDCOR, Euclid Senior Center, Boy Scouts, and Euclid PTA.

She will be remembered for her kind spirit, her dedication to service, and her unwavering commitment to our city and its people.

Madeline was a leader, a friend, a mentor, and a visionary who inspired us all to be better. We are grateful for her service to our community.

In lieu of flowers, Madeline’s family asks that those looking to honor her memory please make a donation to Euclid Pet Pals.
