New Project Update: Euclid Heritage Trail
New Project Update: Euclid Heritage Trail
The City of Euclid is excited to share plans for the upcoming Euclid Heritage Trail project! This initiative will transform approximately 4,500 feet of existing 5-foot sidewalk along the southern side of Euclid Avenue (between Dille Road and E. 228th Street) into a 10-foot-wide, paved multi-purpose trail.
The new trail will improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety, promote healthy outdoor recreation, and directly connect two of our great local greenspaces: Cleveland Metroparks' Euclid Creek Reservation and Hero Park. Phase I construction (between Highland Road and Chardon Road) is fully funded and set to begin in 2027.
