City Employees "No Surprises Act" Health Care Information

June 27, 2022

City of Euclid Employees insured by Medical Mutual are protected against surprise medical bills under this new act.

Beginning July 1, 2022, self-insured health plans and group health insurance carriers will be required to post pricing information for covered items and services. This pricing information can be used by third parties, such as researchers and app developers to help consumers better understand the costs associated with their health care. As a plan sponsor of Self-Insured coverage, the City of Euclid and it's insured employees are part of a Medical Mutual health plan that will be subject to the new law.
