The City of Euclid is requesting applications and proposals from City Departments and nonprofit agencies for participation in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program 

The City of Euclid is requesting applications and proposals from City Departments and nonprofit agencies for participation in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for the period of January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023, also known as CDBG Program Year (PY) 2023. 

This annual grant from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) will be used for a wide range of activities including, but not limited to: public services, public facilities, infrastructure improvements, and minor home repair programs

Pre-Applications are due on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 4:00 PM.

 Give your input on future grant-funded community development projects! Our city will be applying for the 2026 Community Development Supplemental Grant (CDSG) from Cuyahoga County. The grant provides up to $50,000 per awardee . Funds must be used for visible improvements that make neighborhoods safer, healthier, or more welcoming. Eligible projects include: ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Parks & Playgrounds‎‎ (equipment, resurfacing, safety upgrades) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Streets & Safety (sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, benches) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Community Spaces (senior centers, rec centers, gathering spaces) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Demolition/Cleanup (unsafe or blighted small structures) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Planning Projects (studies/master plans for future improvements) Projects must benefit the whole community , not just one household or business.
