Clear the Clutter: August is "Recycle Your Computer Month" in Euclid

Got old electronics taking up space in your closet or basement? August is the perfect time to safely dispose of them.


The City of Euclid is hosting Recycle Your Computer Month from August 1 through August 31, 2026, sponsored by the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District.


Drop-Off Location & Hours

Euclid residents can drop off unwanted electronics 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the month of August at:

  • Location: City of Euclid Streets Dept. Garage
  • Address: 25500 Lakeland Blvd., Euclid, OH


What Equipment is Accepted?

A wide variety of electronic items and accessories will be accepted, including:

  • CPU’s-Computers
  • Mouse / Keyboard
  • Telecom Equipment
  • CD/Rom Drives
  • Speakers - Computer Related
  • Software
  • CD’s/Floppy Disk/VHS
  • Battery Back-Up Devices
  • CRT’s / LCD Monitors
  • DVD / Blue Ray / VCR
  • Laptops–Tablets
  • Printers-Toner/Ink Cartridges
  • Fax Machines/Scanners
  • Hard Drives/Tape Drives
  • All accessory cables/manuals
  • Servers
  • Network Equipment
  • Cell Phones, Smart Phones & Batteries
  • Terminals/Modems
  • Routers–Switches



Responsible & Local Recycling

All collected items will be processed by RET3 Job Corp., a local non-profit organization dedicated to eco-friendly e-waste recycling.
