Request for Proposals to Purchase and Redevelop Site on East 185th

January 22, 2024

The City of Euclid is issuing a Request for Proposals seeking proposals  to purchase and redevelop multiple parcels along East 185th Street in Euclid, Ohio.

The City of Euclid (the “Issuer”) is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) seeking proposals (“Proposal”) to purchase and redevelop multiple parcels along East 185th Street in Euclid, Ohio (the “Site”).

The intention of this RFP is to solicit Proposals from developers (“Respondents”) that will contract to purchase and redevelop the Site according to the provisions, terms, and conditions determined by the Issuer, some of which are contained herein. Other terms and conditions may be developed in response to specific Proposals and incorporated into agreements that may include incentives for the redevelopment of the Site.

The Issuer is seeking a proposal that aligns with the optimal utilization of the Site and is particularly interested in proposals that revitalize the Site by establishing a vibrant mixed-use community hub, dedicated to fostering the social, cultural, and economic progress of Euclid and its surrounding neighborhoods. The Issuer has prepared a path toward redevelopment of the Site by identifying potential programming, including proposed uses and site layout, determining community goals for development, and providing an analysis to inform the feasibility of new construction on the Site.

The deadline for submissions is March 22, 2024 at 4pm EST.

All questions or requests for clarification with respect to the RFP or additional information about the site and supplemental materials must be submitted via e-mail to:
