Annual Fire Hydrant Flushing

May 27, 2025

Hydrant inspection, testing and flushing begins June 2nd. Please run your cold tap for several minutes if you notice discoloration.

Starting Monday, June 2nd, the Euclid Fire Department will begin our annual inspection, testing and flushing of public hydrants throughout the City. This work will be completed during normal business hours Monday-Friday.

You may see a slight discoloration of the water during this time; however, the water is safe to drink. If you notice discoloration, please run your cold water tap for a few minutes until the water runs clear. Avoid washing clothes until the water is clear.

Also- please be aware of fire crews working on hydrants and drive slowly in posted areas!

Thank you for your patience, and stay safe!
