Residential Furnace Safety Program Returns for 2024/2025 Season

The City of Euclid is pleased to announce the return of the Furnace Cleaning & Inspection Program for 2024 / 2025!

It’s Back!
The City of Euclid’s Community Development Division of its Planning and Development Department will once again offer One-Time Furnace Safety Inspections to income-eligible Euclid homeowners beginning in September of 2024.The Inspection will ensure that your furnace is in safe and efficient condition, which will include a cleaning to maximize energy efficiency.
Interested eligible homeowners should contact the Jim Fialko, in the Community Development Division at (216) 289-8562 for further information, and to determine eligibility.

Give your input on future grant-funded community development projects! Our city will be applying for the 2026 Community Development Supplemental Grant (CDSG) from Cuyahoga County. The grant provides up to $50,000 per awardee . Funds must be used for visible improvements that make neighborhoods safer, healthier, or more welcoming. Eligible projects include: Parks & Playgrounds (equipment, resurfacing, safety upgrades) Streets & Safety (sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, benches) Community Spaces (senior centers, rec centers, gathering spaces) Demolition/Cleanup (unsafe or blighted small structures) Planning Projects (studies/master plans for future improvements) Projects must benefit the whole community , not just one household or business.
