Henn Mansion House Volunteer Application

The Friends of the Henn Mansion are seeking volunteers to help with upcoming events at the historical landmark.

The Mission of The Friends of the Henn Mansion, Inc. is to preserve, maintain, and ensure the continued viability of the Henn Mansion as a resource and asset to the area residents, businesses, and our community at large.

We will foster ongoing economic support to sustain the historic relevancy through education which enhances quality of Life.

The Henn Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Friends of the Henn Mansion, Inc. Board is dedicated to making this historical mansion, situated on the shores of Lake Erie, a treasure appreciated by both residents and visitors.

We are actively recruiting an energetic and organized volunteers to help with special events at the Henn.

Give your input on future grant-funded community development projects! Our city will be applying for the 2026 Community Development Supplemental Grant (CDSG) from Cuyahoga County. The grant provides up to $50,000 per awardee . Funds must be used for visible improvements that make neighborhoods safer, healthier, or more welcoming. Eligible projects include: ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Parks & Playgrounds‎‎ (equipment, resurfacing, safety upgrades) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Streets & Safety (sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, benches) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Community Spaces (senior centers, rec centers, gathering spaces) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Demolition/Cleanup (unsafe or blighted small structures) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Planning Projects (studies/master plans for future improvements) Projects must benefit the whole community , not just one household or business.
