EUC Flea Brings Shopping, Music and Food Trucks June 14th

May 12, 2025

In the event of rain, this event will be moved INSIDE Shore Cultural Centre!

UPDATE: In the event of rain, our EUC Art & Vintage Market will be moved INSIDE Shore Cultural Centre-- if you don't see us outside, please check us out inside for shopping, music food and more!

Stop by Shore Cultural Centre on Saturday, June 14th to check out EUC Flea- an eastside art and vintage market offering local art, handmade goods, vintage and boutique vendors paired with live music and food trucks. Our 2024 “Spring Market” will host a variety of vendors showcasing a mixture of local art, freshly made artisan foods, handmade crafts, clothing, furniture, bric-a-brac, vintage wares, artisan goods and plenty of hidden gems.

Food and Drinks will be available all day and a selection of adult beverages and cocktails will be available for purchased and served by the Shoe Cultural Centre Board.

Music will fill the market all day, played by a live DJ playing all your favorite hits across the decades from 12pmto 4pm.  Shop awhile, then find a seat to enjoy lunch in the park from one of our amazing local food trucks.

“We’re so excited to bring an event like this to Euclid,” said Shore Cultural Centre Manager Laura Kidder. “We’ve really put together something special by making this market a full experience- not just shopping- but live music, food and drinks. We hope people come and make a day of it!”

EUC Flea’s “Spring Market” will take place in Triangle Park in front of Shore Cultural Center 12pm to 4pm on June 14th. Future markets are scheduled for triangle park on August 16th and October 11th - and inside Shore Cultural Centre 4pm to 8pm on December 5th during the City’s annual Holiday Lighting Event.

Parking and admission are free. Leashed pets are welcome in all outdoor spaces. EUC Flea will take place rain or shine.

Vendors are still being accepted for all four markets. More information can be found at bit.ly/EUCFlea

Building Resilient Shorelines: Join Us for a Nature-Based Strategies Workshop Living along Lake Erie offers stunning views and vibrant community life, but lakefront property owners and coastal communities also face distinct challenges from shoreline erosion and storm damage to habitat loss. To address these challenges, the City of Euclid is excited to host an interactive community workshop: Building Resilient Strategies: A Workshop for Lake Erie Property Owners and Communities . Supported by a grant from the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation’s National Coastal Resilience Fund (NCRF) , this event is designed to help local residents explore sustainable, eco-friendly approaches to shoreline protection. What Are Nature-Based Strategies (NbS)? Nature-based strategies (NbS) use natural materials and ecological design to help stabilize coastlines. Unlike traditional hard infrastructure, NbS measures offer dynamic benefits, including: Erosion Control & Shoreline Stabilization: Protecting property against wave action and weather. Storm Damage Protection: Absorbing impact during severe weather events. Water Quality Improvement: Filtering runoff naturally before it reaches Lake Erie. Habitat Creation: Supporting local wildlife and aquatic ecosystems. Whether you are looking to protect your own shoreline or interested in coastal management for the broader community, this workshop will guide you through taking ideas from initial concept to full implementation. Interactive Design Session for Property Owners Are you a lakefront property owner? Bring photographs or drawings of YOUR shoreline! During the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive design process to discuss tailored solutions and potential approaches for their specific property.
