Kay’s Curvy Couture Brings Style to Shore

May 17, 2022

Retail style shop opens at Shore Cultural Centre welcoming fashionistas size XS to 3X.

“This whole thing started because I had a co-worker who would literally buy the clothes off my back,” said Kay’s Curvy Couture owner Karyn Burgess. Burgess, a Euclid resident, recently set up her retail style shop on the second floor of Shore Cultural Center, opening her welcoming doors to fashionistas size XS to 3X.

In addition to offering an incredibly inclusive size range of fashion-forward clothing, Kay’s Curvy Couture also offers free consultations and personal styling for women in all stages of their fashion journey. “I love how a new outfit can totally transform someone,” beamed Burgess. “Women that just love clothes, women that might be homemakers returning to the workforce, women who might be coming from difficult situations- I just want every woman to feel good about themselves.”

With pieces starting at just $25, customers of Kay’s Curvy Couture will find boutique clothing at a fraction of the boutique price. Styles range from trendy, embellished tops and jeans to classic little black dresses and muted work attire. Pieces sold in the style shop are sourced all over the world and personally curated by Burgess based on feedback from her customers. “I don’t want to sell things you can get at the mall,” says Burgess of her inventory. “I want to make shopping here an experience you can’t have anywhere else.”

Kay’s Curvy Couture also works in partnerships with hair, nail and makeup artists to offer full style makeovers for interested customers- a service Burgess says adds just as much value to her as it does to the client. “I love how it makes me feel when I can make other people feel their best,” says Burgess who takes great pride in having customers leave her shop feeling beautiful and confident.

Shopping at Kay’s Curvy Couture is currently available Saturday 11:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Monday through Thursday by appointment only, with appointments being made by calling 216-282-6693. Please call to schedule a styling session, visit online at KaysCurvyCouture.com or stop by to check out the unique inventory in a wide range of sizes!
