Meet the Shore Cultural Centre Team

September 25, 2023

Shore Cultural Centre is a unique city asset that serves the community. See More about the people that keep it running here!

Shore Cultural Centre is a unique city asset that serves the community by renting space to over 40 businesses. Our 850-seat auditorium is available for meetings, plays, musicals, and concerts. We also have a commercial kitchen with eight rental areas for bakers, caterers, and various food professionals. This space is managed by a Chef with a Class 3 License.

The Shore staff consists of Laura Kidder, the building manager overseeing the facility's day-to-day operations, and three maintenance and janitorial staff.

In addition, Shore Cultural Centre partners with Vocational Guidance Services (VGS) a service for adults with varying abilities, who assist in general cleaning of the restrooms and common areas during the day.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring that our historic building, which spans over 125,000 square feet, remains clean, safe, and inviting for our tenants and visitors daily. They work tirelessly to promptly address any maintenance or cleaning issues.

We are also fortunate to partner with various businesses that celebrate their “Day of Giving” at Shore. Our staff collaborates well with these various levels of expertise.

Additionally, our local residents have been tremendously supportive over the years, always willing to lend a hand whenever needed, whether it's helping with office tasks, event set-up, painting walls or rooms, or supporting our maintenance team.

Currently, Shore has leased out 95% of its spaces. We have only a few spaces left to rent, and we are working towards getting some other rooms to add to our inventory.

We want to give a shout-out to the Service Department for always being helpful whenever needed. We appreciate their support.

Under the direction of the City of Euclid since 2021 and in sync with the enthusiasm and professionalism of Laura Kidder, Shore’s focus has shifted to creating incubator spaces for businesses ready to grow. We are proud to have added arts and cultural tenants, service-oriented businesses, and makers and creators.

If it’s been a while since you’ve set foot in Shore,
we invite you to be part of the
Community Open House taking place on 9/28/23 from 5pm – 7pm!
It’ll be great to see you there!
