Job Title: Van Driver- Senior Programs- Part Time Substitute
Department: Recreation
Status: A. Classified. B. Nonexempt
Job Summary: Responsible for safely transporting Euclid Senior Citizens to nutrition sites, medical appointments, shopping centers, and other sites. As well as delivering meals to homebound participants. This employee works under the immediate supervision of the Program Manager or designee.
Job Duties:
- Drive City vans and autos; operate a wheelchair lift.
- Transport Seniors to various approved sites as needed.
- Deliver meals to the homebound.
- Report any significant changes in the Senior's behavior, health or personality.
- Maintain cleanliness of van; report malfunctions or damages.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to communicate, express, and exchange ideas and instructions accurately and clearly.
$12.00 per hour, Part Time Substitute, M-F 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
