Request for Proposals: Residential Roofing Replacement

Proposals for this roofing project are being accepted though Friday, October 18th at 2pm.

 

 

The City of Euclid’s Division of Community Development, through the Department of Planning and Development, is requesting proposals from qualifying and appropriate contractors for residential roof replacement for houses and garages with substandard

roofing, for the Program Year (PY) 2024.


Funding and support for this program will be from the City of Euclid’s annual allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies, through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).


The project location for this program will be at the following location: 2051 E. 224 Street.

 

Proposals will be accepted by Department of Planning and Development no later than 2:00 PM on Friday, October 18th, 2024.

 Give your input on future grant-funded community development projects! Our city will be applying for the 2026 Community Development Supplemental Grant (CDSG) from Cuyahoga County. The grant provides up to $50,000 per awardee . Funds must be used for visible improvements that make neighborhoods safer, healthier, or more welcoming. Eligible projects include: ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Parks & Playgrounds‎‎ (equipment, resurfacing, safety upgrades) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Streets & Safety (sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, benches) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Community Spaces (senior centers, rec centers, gathering spaces) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Demolition/Cleanup (unsafe or blighted small structures) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Planning Projects (studies/master plans for future improvements) Projects must benefit the whole community , not just one household or business.
