Open Door Euclid Program

The Open Door Euclid Program was created after conversations with Euclid businesses, which have identified a need for improving and expanding housing options in Euclid as a way to remain competitive when hiring employees. In response, the Open Door Euclid Program works to identify existing housing for rehabilitation and sell them to owner-occupants at affordable sales prices.

is designed to provide affordable, owner occupied housing opportunities in Euclid. The Program was developed based on feedback from Euclid businesses, which are looking for ways to attract and retain talent near good paying jobs. Homes that move through the program are offered for sale between $15,000 and $20,000, based on their condition. Homes are offered for the first 30 days to owner-occupants who can use sweat equity or a loan to renovate the home. If an owner-occupant does not bid on the home, it is offered to investors to renovate and sell to an owner-occupant.
