August 27, 2025

Join us in growing our urban canopy and improving our streetscapes.

Do you love trees? Are you passionate about the environment and eager to make a difference in your community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The Division of Urban Forestry is thrilled to announce the formation of a new group of dedicated residents—Euclid Tree Allies—aiming to enhance our city's green spaces.

What is a Euclid Tree Ally?

As a Euclid Tree Ally, you will be an integral part of a community-driven effort to build and maintain a thriving tree canopy throughout our city. Trees are vital to our urban environment; they provide shade, enhance air quality, and beautify our streetscapes. By joining this initiative, you will not only contribute to the health and beauty of Euclid but also gain valuable skills in tree care and maintenance.

What Will You Learn?

Becoming a Euclid Tree Ally means you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside other tree enthusiasts.

Our program will cover:

  • Proper Tree Care: Understand the essentials of maintaining healthy trees.
  • Tree Pruning Techniques: Learn how to prune trees correctly to encourage growth and longevity.
  • Tree Planting Methods: Discover the best practices for planting new trees.
  • Tree Selection: Get insights on choosing the right trees for your soil and environment.
