Household Hazardous Waste Round-Up

Items can be dropped off Sept. 8th through 13th - 8am to 3pm at John A. Piscitello Service Center: 25200 Lakeland Blvd.

 

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE ROUND UP- Free to Euclid Residents!

 

DATES: Sept. 8th -13th, 2025

 

LOCATION: John A. Piscitello Service Center, 25200 Lakeland Blvd. HOURS: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 


 

Acceptable Items:

 

Oil or solvent based paint, sealers, primers, or coatings (aerosols or liquids) Varnishes, polyurethanes, shellacs, spray paint

 

Paint thinner, mineral spirits, turpentine Kerosene, gasoline, lighter fluid Automotive fluids, motor oil Pesticides, herbicides, insecticides Caustic household cleaners

 

Adhesives, roof tar, driveway sealer Mercury

 

Pool chemicals


Passenger vehicle tires will also be accepted during this waste round up. Only passenger and light truck tires can be accepted. Tires must be off of the rims

 


 

**Materials NOT Accepted**

 

Latex Paint (dry out and dispose of with weekly trash) Explosives, gun powder, ammunition, flares

 

Medical waste, medicine, sharps Radioactive waste (i.e. smoke detectors) 

 

Electronics, appliances 

 

Business Waste

 

No longer accepting: Fluorescent bulbs, Rechargeable batteries, Fire extinguishers and Propane tanks.

 Give your input on future grant-funded community development projects! Our city will be applying for the 2026 Community Development Supplemental Grant (CDSG) from Cuyahoga County. The grant provides up to $50,000 per awardee . Funds must be used for visible improvements that make neighborhoods safer, healthier, or more welcoming. Eligible projects include: ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Parks & Playgrounds‎‎ (equipment, resurfacing, safety upgrades) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Streets & Safety (sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, benches) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Community Spaces (senior centers, rec centers, gathering spaces) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Demolition/Cleanup (unsafe or blighted small structures) ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Planning Projects (studies/master plans for future improvements) Projects must benefit the whole community , not just one household or business.
