Construction Notice for Euclid Residents: Lake Shore Pedestrian Improvements Project


Euclid Residents,

We are pleased to announce that the Lake Shore Pedestrian Improvements Project is set to begin construction the week of November 4th. This project follows the successful completion of the previous phase in Downtown Euclid, which has shown significant enhancements in pedestrian safety, improved connectivity, and reduced traffic speeds.


Project Details:

Contractor: Great Lakes Crushing

Location: Lakeshore Blvd. from East 228th to Luikart Drive

Construction Duration: Starting the week of November 4th and continuing through the end of the year, with potential finishing touches in the spring.

What to Expect: The project will include the installation of a landscaped median and new crosswalks, designed to enhance both the safety and aesthetic appeal of our community. A schematic plan outlining these features is attached for your reference.

Traffic Impact: We will make every effort to minimize disruptions and ensure the safety of both pedestrians and drivers.
