The City of Euclid is seeking public feedback on the proposed project connecting Euclid Avenue / Dille Road to Chardon Road.

About the Project

The City of Euclid proposes to improve a 5-foot-wide section of sidewalk to a 10-foot-wide asphalt multipurpose trail along the south side of Euclid Avenue from Dille Road to Chardon Road providing 1,200 linear feet of improved trail to meet ADA standards. This project improves non-vehicular mobility along Euclid Avenue and connection to the existing Euclid Creek Trail.

The proposed improvements extend from the Dille Road intersection to the west to the Chardon Road intersection to the east. Two Cleveland RTA bus stops will be improved along the route along with the Euclid Creek Trail intersection with Euclid Avenue.

Euclid Creek Trail will have temporary impacts including the closure of the trail for 1 day while the construction equipment connects the new trail with the existing trail, near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Chardon Road. Flaggers will be present at the time of closure to direct trail users through construction.

The proposed improvements occur within the public right of way and on Cleveland Metroparks property. The Cleveland Metroparks have been engaged during this design process. Expected construction timeframe is from August to October of 2027.
