  1. Reappraisal Website: 2024 Sexennial Reappraisal (cuyahogacounty.gov)
  2. Property Tax Estimator: This is a powerful tool for homeowners that demonstrates that property taxes will likely not increase at the same rate as their increase in appraised values. In fact, many homeowners will see their taxes decrease: Estimate your Property Tax (cuyahogacounty.gov)
  3. Residential Sales Finder: Allows you to see the sales prices of nearby homes (since this appraisals are largely based on sales). : Cuyahoga County Sales Finder 2.0 (arcgis.com)
  4. Anyone who does not agree with their proposed valuation can file an Informal Complaint here: Informal Complaint - Cuyahoga County of Ohio - Informal Complaint - Cuyahoga County of Ohio
  5. Cuyahoga County will host a series of in-person meetings to educate taxpayers about the reappraisal process. All are welcome to attend. Find the list of meetings on the reappraisal website here.


For your information, Cuyahoga County has provided a digital version of the reappraisal presentation - The “2024 Sexennial Appraisal Presentation” is the most recent version of what Fiscal Officer Michael Chambers has presented throughout the County, including to the County Mayors and Managers Association and First Suburbs.
